Descent of heaven messages and it is the starting of the first light of the human mind…this is Iraq. The first
civilizations were found in Iraq and the human culture started to develop the human life since the oldest centuries. Iraq is located between the width line 25/37 and 5/29 and the two height lines 45-48 and 45- 38 and in the warm section of the north modest area.
Iraq is the profuse area of lands in water and it has two great rivers (Tigris and Euphrates) and they are descending from the north until they met in the south in Basra to form Shatt Alarab. Its southern area is so smooth and it holds many marshes and lakes, while the middle area is curved, and its northern area containing many beautiful mountains. Iraq is considered from the richest countries in the world in its spare oil and its huge oil fields are extended from its north to south.
The first human being lived in Iraq and we found his traces in the caves and in the northern and eastern mountains. The historians confirmed that the Sumerians are the builders of the oldest civilization in the history. The Sumerians created writing in (3200 B.C) and published it and the first schools where build in Sumer land. The obelisk of hammorabi is considered the oldest law in the world (1750 B.C) and it is still available till now in Louver museum in Paris.

Iraq is considered as a bridge that connect east with west and it can be arrived to Iraq through air and sea and land
from all over the world. Iraq is joined the European Union’s countries in addition to the flights and it joined in land with Baghdad –Zakho- Turkey-Bulgaria- and to the rest of the European countries, and also through the railways with the fast east train which joined Iraq to Syria and Turkey then to Europe.
And it can be arrived to Iraq by sea through Tartoos port in Syria and Beirut and Alaqaba then to Baghdad. Iraq is connected to the far east countries through air and the Arabian gulf through sea and Iran through land, then to the rest of the Far East countries. Iraq is connected with many Arabic neighbored countries through direct and indirect land intakes, and it is connected with the rest of the Arabian gulf countries through sea intakes, and it has direct borders
with the Arabian countries through land ways; they are:

There are five international airports in Iraq receive the travelers daily. The Iraqi airlines company and the private Iraqi flying companies and the rest of the Arabic and foreign flying companies in the country are steering daily and organized flights to and from the working airports in the country, they are:

Baghdad international airport.
Basra international airport.
Sulaymanya international airport.
Erbil international airport.
Mosul airport.
Najaf airport.

with Jordan: Baghdad- Ramadi- Almafraq- Amman 918 kilometer.
with Syria: there are two ways with Syria
Baghdad- Ramadi- Almafraq- Damascus 835 kilometer.
Baghdad- Mosul- Rabeea- Halab 1066 kilometer.
with Kuwait: Baghdad- Basra- Safwan- Kuwait 740 kilometer.
with the kingdom of Saudi Arabia: Baghdad- Arar- Jeddah 1200 kilometer.
with turkey: Baghdad- Zakho- Ankara 1786 kilometer.
with Iran: there are more than one border intakes but the shorter is Baghdad – Almuntheriya – Qaser Sheren – Tehran 960 kilometer.

Iraq is located at the head of the Arabian Gulf from the north and Basra is considered the only direct naval intake for Iraq, Iraq is connected commercially from this intake with the Arabian gulf countries and east Asia countries and the rest of the countries in the world; these intakes are:

Iraq big port.
Albaker port.
Om Qaser port.
Alfaw port.

There is a test for AIDS in each border intake.

The tourist can take with him some of the personal and electrical devices like mobile phone and cameras and computers, they entered without custom fees. Regarding the cars, it can be entered versus financial guarantee or international permission.

The Iraqi currency is Dinnar and it is about 1300 dollars according to dollar. You can use the other main currencies in the daily trading like dollar and other Arabic currencies.

Most of the trading and general shops and markets are opened daily from 9 A.M to 1 P.M and from 4 P.M till late time in the evening. The trading shops close at holidays.

The daily work hours in the formal departments start from 8 A.M till 3 P.M and from Sunday to Thursday because Friday and Saturday are formal holidays in the country.

The climate is differentiating in Iraq according to the seasons.
The weather is cold in winter and the temperature is lowered under zero percentage, so you should wear warm wooly clothes and raincoat in some days.
And you can wear light or cotton clothes in spring and during March till May. The summer’s months starts from June to October and the temperature will increase to more than 40 in some days.
